In my opinion, longer than it needed to be. Lars would disagree however ;-) I did mostly like it though. I liked Jyn, I liked Cassian, I liked K-2SO. And though sad by necessity, I liked the ending. It set the stage perfectly for "A New Hope". I did laugh at it referencing (unintentionally, perhaps, but referencing all the same) both "Galaxy Quest" (having to go through moving parts of the ship) and "Spaceballs"...

Talk about a star-studded cast! Fortunately it lived up to it, and thus actually exceeded my expectations. I've never been all that fond of the book, but really enjoyed this adaptation of Agatha Christie's famous mystery... even if it was difficult not to draw parallels to the game all the time.

Really sweet chick-flick. I didn't realize until afterwards that it was meant to be a Christmas movie (the original title was even "Christmas in the Wild"), which is actually the best kind of Christmas movies in my books. I could definitely see this becoming a regular rewatch.

Once again a Terminator movie that ignores everything past Terminator 2. I had high hopes for it, and it delivered. I loved seeing Linda Hamilton again, and thought both Grace and Dani to be excellent additions to the story. I also quite liked that Arnold took a back seat and obviously wasn't the main character in this one. I'd definitely be interested in seeing a sequel to this.

I have to be in the mood for this, but if I am, then I rather enjoy it. Obviously too silly for words, but then it IS Simpsons, so I never expected anything else.

Based on JP1 I had high hopes for JW - and it totally delivered! Awesome CGI and actually more plot than I had originally anticipated. Not high art, but good fun :)

ETA after rewatching: I really liked this the first time I saw it, but on subsequent viewings, the errors in judgement necessary to get Indomnious Rex to escape really, REALLY bug me.

Truth - I've never seen this movie before. I tried once back in 1994, but left after 20-30 minutes because I got bored. Lars has always told me I ought to see it though, so today I did. Honestly, it was better than I'd expected. Very dated, of course, and SO stereotypical a 90s movie, but it is Spielberg, and he tends to be entertaining enough.

If only they'd stuck to just cloning herbivores....

Rather similar in style to many of the Marvel movies. I definitely liked it, but I think my expectations may have been too high. I agree with those who say it's the best DC movie so far though, and would love to see a Wonder Woman/Captain America cross-over! :D

Really cute movie. Totally predictable, of course, but I mostly watched it for the accents anyway and absolutely loved it :-D I also loved the little town feel and how everybody just automatically accepted Gabrielle as one of theirs. There was more than one scene which made me sigh happily. Even the "miscommunication" which brought things to a head didn't annoy me as much as it could have, because it was handled...

An excellent action movie. I love heist movies. I've yet to see the original, but love this 2003 remake.

An action movie of the type that comes a dime a dozen - but with a surprisingly A-list cast! I liked it well enough. Nothing special, but I wasn't expecting much anyway, so I was nicely entertained.

No spoilers! I really loved it. Sure, it had its issues, but I found so many things to laugh at and so many sweet and poignant moments. After the disappointment of Infinity War, this made me fall back in love with the franchise.

I remember loving this when it first came out at the movies (of course also help that I saw it on a date ;) ), but haven't actually seen it since then. Unfortunately it really didn't stand the test of time. It still had its good points, and I did laugh more than once, but parts were also hopelessly depressing. I don't think I'll ever watch this again.

28-year-old Matthew Perry is more than a little cute though! :-D...

This sequel is almost as good as the first movie, although I didn't care quite as much for Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker). But like the first movie it's the characters that carry the movie. Brilliant acting by Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins and John Malkovich.

I'd heard mixed reviews of this one - among others that Helen Mirren doesn't make a believable assassin. I've got to disagree - Helen Mirren can play ANYTHING as far as I'm concerned! ;) It's a terrific movie. Good action, lots of fun, and including some of my favourite actors. All good.
