I hadn't seen this one in YEARS and unfortunately it couldn't quite live up to my expectations.... no, that's not quite true. I loved most of it, and found it really charming and very, very cute. However, the end frustrated me, because the huge climax had Amanda running back to Graham and then... what?! It didn't actually resolve anything, it just postponed the issue. Bah!

Ah well - guess you're not supposed to...

Generally speaking I'm a fan of plots involving time travel (as long as it's not repeated ad absurdium as e.g. "Flash Forward"), and I thought Joseph Gordon-Lewitt did an excellent job of getting Bruce Willis' mannerisms right.

I just earned the title of "Best Wife Ever!" for telling Lars I wanted to watch Die Hard for our scheduled date-night ;) Easiest points ever - I usually really enjoy Bruce Willis' movies, and Alan Rickman makes for a terrific villain.

I cannot count how many times I've seen this by now. I know I saw it in 1990 and even then it might have been a rewatch (although I remember finding it kinda scary back then, so I think possibly not. It's still a favourite. I don't know if it would work if I saw it for the first time now, but with nostalgia added in, I love it :)

This is probably in my top 10 movies of all time.

I had this recommended very highly to me, and as I love Jim Henson's Labyrinth I was keen to give it a chance. Unfortunately it fell very, very short of my expectations. The plot was basically non-existent, and it seemed like it was more meant as an opportunity to show off what you can do with puppets than a movie in its own right. I saw the first episode of the new series as well, and it was slightly better, but...

Really, really funny movie! In style it was a mix between "Spy" and "The Hitman's Bodyguard" and it just worked for me. Morgan especially was hilarious. I love Kate McKinnon :)

I love how this movie so clearly showcases a strong, supportive friendship. They truly have each others backs and are better people for it. Sam Heughan will always be Jamie Fraiser to me though ;)

NO SPOILERS
I felt the start was oddly disjointed, and there were a few plotholes here and there as TPTB tried to adjust for Carrie Fisher's untimely death. All in all I enjoyed it though - there were some cool surprises along the way that I definitely hadn't seen coming.

People have complained that it doesn't feel like a 'real' MIB movie - I completely disagree! Sure, I missed Agents J and K, but really thought that M and H did a great job - and the general atmosphere was spot on!

It didn't quite live up to my expectations, but then the middle installment of a trilogy is usually the weakest, no matter if it's books or movies, so I'm not as disappointed as I could've been. I'm really, really, really curious how TPTB will handle Carrie Fisher's death though.

I enjoyed it more than I thought it would. It definitely has the same feel as the original Star Wars movies. It did get a bit long at times, but I mostly really liked it. And I loved BB8! He reminded me of Wall*E :)

I think Wall*E has to be one of the most adorable heroes ever. The movie itself was slightly duller than I remembered it, but still one of the sweetest animated movies ever made.... even if it does cause "Sunday Clothes" to get firmly stuck on my mind for days afterwards.

It's such a sweet movie. I would LOVE to work in a bookshop like "Shop Around the Corner", although as a shopper I have to admit I'm more drawn to big shops like Fox... I buy so many books a year they HAVE to be discount, or I'd go broke in no time at all.

Amazing how this still stands the test of time! It does make me miss the days were I had people I emailed daily though. With the rise of social media the number...

In my opinion, longer than it needed to be. Lars would disagree however ;-) I did mostly like it though. I liked Jyn, I liked Cassian, I liked K-2SO. And though sad by necessity, I liked the ending. It set the stage perfectly for "A New Hope". I did laugh at it referencing (unintentionally, perhaps, but referencing all the same) both "Galaxy Quest" (having to go through moving parts of the ship) and "Spaceballs"...

Talk about a star-studded cast! Fortunately it lived up to it, and thus actually exceeded my expectations. I've never been all that fond of the book, but really enjoyed this adaptation of Agatha Christie's famous mystery... even if it was difficult not to draw parallels to the game all the time.

Really sweet chick-flick. I didn't realize until afterwards that it was meant to be a Christmas movie (the original title was even "Christmas in the Wild"), which is actually the best kind of Christmas movies in my books. I could definitely see this becoming a regular rewatch.
