Usually I rather enjoy disaster movies. I know they're B-movies and use lots of cheap shots, but there's something about the destructive powers of nature that I find extremely fascinating. This one was a huge disappointment though, and I'm glad I didn't waste money on seeing it in the cinema. Also, I know they had to show that 'it takes all sorts', but Anheuser's selfishness infuriated me. I completely agree with...

Completely unrealistic, but such a fun movie! Just like with "Space Cowboys" I like the start, but once they actually get up into space it doesn't do too much for me. I like the characters though :)

We FINALLY got to see this to the very end after only making it 75% through at the movies. Of course I had seen the ending a mile away, but this was never supposed to be high class viewing. And for just plain amusement it fit the bill very well.

A mix between "Groundhog Day" and "Starship Troopers". I enjoyed it a lot, and was very pleasantly surprised by it. There were a few plot holes here and there, but nothing I couldn't ignore.

Better than I had feared, but every bit as predictable as I had expected.

So far I've liked pretty much everything with Will Smith, and I love "the day after" movies, so this one was right up my aisle. Sure, it's a B-movie, but I still enjoy it.

I saw this often on Christmas while growing up (it seemed to get aired practically every year), but hadn't seen it in AGES, so I thought it would be fun to rewatch it. It really doesn't stand the test of time all that well, but nostalgia means a lot, and I had fun seeing it again.

(Called "Vaiana" in much of Europe. Apparently "Moana" is a trademarked name here, so they had to change the title/name of the main character)

Really good and I loved many of the songs, but ultimately it suffered from too much hype. My expectations were too high, and it didn't blow me away the way I had hoped/expected. It's still heaps better than many recent Disney movies though, so I have a feeling I'll like it...

It didn't quite live up to my expectations, but then the middle installment of a trilogy is usually the weakest, no matter if it's books or movies, so I'm not as disappointed as I could've been. I'm really, really, really curious how TPTB will handle Carrie Fisher's death though.

In my opinion, longer than it needed to be. Lars would disagree however ;-) I did mostly like it though. I liked Jyn, I liked Cassian, I liked K-2SO. And though sad by necessity, I liked the ending. It set the stage perfectly for "A New Hope". I did laugh at it referencing (unintentionally, perhaps, but referencing all the same) both "Galaxy Quest" and "Spaceballs".

I enjoyed it more than I thought it would. It definitely has the same feel as the original Star Wars movies. It did get a bit long at times, but I mostly really liked it. And I loved BB8! He reminded me of Wall*E :)

A very decent follow-up to the first movie. Had all the humour and self-irony I'd expected, and a few twists I hadn't.

Also, I loved Mini Groot :-)

Rather similar in style to many of the Marvel movies. I definitely liked it, but I think my expectations may have been too high. I agree with those who say it's the best DC movie so far though, and would love to see a Wonder Woman/Captain America cross-over! :D

I think this may be the lowest rating I've ever given a movie. The problem is that I can see it's meant as a feel-good movie, but it just really, really, REALLY didn't work for me! The worst part was the return of Robin Williams' role. Had it just stayed with the first 'visit' and we'd seen nothing more of him after Evan entered Julliard, then I don't think I would have minded. But his return changed him from an...

I really shouldn't like this movie as much as I do - it's a lot more gory than my usual fare - but it's just so well made!
