I felt like rewatching this after seeing Julia Child's kitchen at the Smithsonian for myself. It's just as good as I remembered it :) I wonder about Julia's reaction to Julie's project though. It (the project) doesn't seem disrespectful to me, but I guess she might only have heard about it, and not actually know the details.

Pretty terrific actually. I was surprised by how much I liked it, as I'd expected nothing more than a standard action movie. It was that too, but it was better than most. It was fun and fast-paced with lots of interesting twists and turns. Also, I was ridiculously pleased with myself when "Elsie" tried to guess "Frank's" career, I thought "teacher!" and he replied, "Math - I teach math". Woohoo :-D

I've gone off...

Me, too! About the teacher thing I mean. I wonder what was so typically teacher about him though?

Netflix recommended this to me, and it seemed like something I would enjoy. And I did - absolutely I loved it. Seeing Rachel grow and seeing her relationship with her father slowly rebuild... so sweet! And I'm glad the ending didn't disappoint.

Obviously not as good as "Finding Nemo", but still definitely had its laugh-out-loud moments (I loved the half-blind white shark). The end was more than a little unrealistic, but I loved the rest of it.

I knew absolutely nothing about the historical events behind this movie ahead of time, but thought it an incredibly interesting and well done movie. I still think I'm missing out on a lot of the details and definitely need to read up on both this and Watergate now!

Typical Indiana Jones-like movie, but I liked it :-) It could easily have worked without the side story of 'Texas' though. To me, it seemed a bit pointless - only included in the plot to explain why Dirk Pitt and Al were in Mali. I really liked that Al wasn't just comic relief though, but a close-to equal partner.

Better than I remembered it, but that's probably got more to do with my low expectations than the...

I haven't seen this since 2006 and remembered it as being... well, just better I guess. I actually found it somewhat boring in parts, which surprised me greatly.

After having watched the two National Treasure movies I wanted to see another treasure hunt movie, and this one was suggested to me. The beginning is alright but then? Gah! So much time is wasted with ridiculous chase scenes, fight scenes and Marion...

Much better than O12 - almost as good as O11... guess they just need to stick with casinos! ;)

Really sweet! Again, quite a few differences from the book (which I'd finished just the week before), but only one that bugged me (the fallout from the bullying. That was NOT COOL and allowed a very strong moment in the book to be turned into a laughable one here. Grrr!). Most importantly, they kept the atmosphere and most of the poignant scenes from the book, and I ended up really enjoying the movie too.

Quite different from the book in some respects, but it kept most of the atmosphere and fortunately it'd been long enough since I'd read the book for me to have forgotten most of it. I liked it, but missed the plethora of 80s and 90s pop culture references included in the book.

I think this had been hyped too much, because it certainly couldn't live up to my expectations. It was alright and kept me nicely entertained, but I have absolutely no need to see it again.

A lot better than I had expected. I'd heard mostly poor reviews of this movie, but I actually really liked it :) I know viewers give Jim slack for waking Aurora, but after a year? I absolutely understand it! Might not agree with it, might hope I'd do something different myself, but understand it - definitely.

Quite disappointing unfortunately. Not nearly as good as the two first ones. The plot wasn't as tight, and the characters didn't have the chance to shine as much. Not likely to see this again.

I think I may actually have enjoyed this more than I did when I first saw it. I was prepared for all the Lion King references, so they didn't annoy me, and I'd almost forgotten how much I love the penguins! Very good entertainment :)

One of my favourite animated movies, and it's even more fun at 4am after you've been up for 22 hours ;-) I can quote long passages from it, but still love watching it.
