Seema Wadhwa

Seema

Following Your Passion

Wake up Sid, hats off to Ayan Mukherjee for such a large scale debut.
It goes without saying no one else other than Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen could have done more justice to the lead characters.
The movie's central idea focuses on the old yet true notion.
Following Your Passion.
The transition of an indecisive, confused Sid,
To a matured guy realizing his true passion and love.
What is it to like have a girl...

Much more than the tittle

Initially when I saw the tittle and even the trailer of the movie.
I thought it would be a light hearted easy going teenage story movie.
I surely thought I would enjoy it as an easy weekend watch. But this movie has a BIGGER PACKAGE IN A MEDIUM SIZED BOX.
The story is quite fascinating to watch, the obvious credit goes to Stephen Chbosky here.
It's not just the story line one would enjoy but the acting,direction,music...

SLOW

Typical old slow romantic movie. Where it takes the girl and the guy forever to realize how much they love each other. Watch it only if you believe in eternal love stories

Reality?

After all the excitement and expectation from the sequel,it was way beyond unrealistic.
I mean I wonder If 2050 will also have such a technology.
And if you happen to view it critically it'll be more than a comedy than a thriller movie.
Ever heard of a technology to view the opposite person's playing cards and not only that.
you can even manipulate it,all through a high-tech glares.
It might just be treat for a day...

Decent for a rare attempt

The first Bollywood movie to entirely focus around dance.
The movie has resemblances from the Hollywood movie step up.
The story line is predictable and goes with the flow.
But yes,it'll be a complete dessert on platter for dance lovers.
The plot may not be that strong.
But Prabhudeva's moves simply make up for it.
No one can match his moves.
And of course Ganesh Acharya's presence adds more charm to the whole setup.

Something's missing

Most Importantly Jason Bateman played his part pretty well.
And on a note Melissa McCarthy was even hilarious.
Yet,the movie seemed to be incomplete or just not good.
The story line might seem fresh and new to some.
But on an individual level it felt like an attempt to make the movie Due Date funny.
The characters seem to be coming up every time.
As though, it was a real try to prevent it from being monotonous.
Too many...

Exotic Zombie Love

One shouldn't go by the impression that a zombie love movie will have action, action and some more action.
But there's more to it.
Yes,there are instances of people being attacked, chased and even eaten by zombies.
But other than that it also has it own romantic, comedy and unbelievably dramatic elements.
The movie deserves an appreciation to all spheres of job-assigned people.
Right from the director- Jonathan Levine.
To...

A true Classic

You shouldn't be surprised if the movie restores your faith about life all over again.
It'll give your true lessons of life.
And one can quote this movie as Learning to learn all over again.
A deaf, blind michelle (Rani Mukherjee) learns to live.
Just when she's been knocked down hardest.
Debraj Sahai (Amitabh Bachan) proves to that ray of light.
A ray of color beautifying Michelle's black life.
The movie showcases Rani...

A typical Priyadarshan Comedy

If the Verdict Confuses you,Priyadarshan is the man behind many fiction hilarious works.
Hungama is one of these movies which falls under the typical Priyadarshan genre.
This movie will definitely not fail to tickle your funny bone.
In a plot read format,it may just sound like a series of chaotic misfit incidents into hilarious outcomes.
But the visual impact of this movie is way more interesting and entertaining.
The...

Now That's Something Different

As Different and unique the tittle may suggest, the movie is of similar character.
A unique film making with a unique story line altogether
as compared to the contemporary film stories in 2005.
Parineeta is an adaption of a Bengali novella with the same name,
Most importantly, the movie successfully managed to fit in a minimum useful time frame.
Fitting a novella in a 2 hours visual run time is quite a task.
This movie...

Kachra Khelega

As the verdict says -Kachra Khelega!
It's nothing against the movie, well it happens to be one of the dialogues which simply doesn't seem to fly away from my head.
Yes,the movie kind of has followed what you cal- Everything right.
Right from the cast to the location and most importantly dialogue delivery.
Kudos to the director Ashutosh Gowariker.
After investing a long time which is more than three hours of by the...

Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai

To begin with, honestly nothing about the will surprise or even fascinate you as such.
No special animation, out of the box ideas.
But the mere story line of the movie is beautiful in it's own sense.
The movie sets as a perfect example of an Indian Wife
who ultimately loves or rather learns to love her husband unconditionally.
Anushka Sharma has done her debut work in this movie it proves her stand today in Bollywood.

Dur gaaon mein jab bachcha raat ko rota hai to maa kahti hai,

For all the Bollywood followers, this dialogue stands as a perfect epitome.

It's flawless piece of film making to see.
The history alone speaks a thousand words.
Goes without saying why the movie has won numerous awards and achieved endless awards.
